Beautiful vintage 1970s Antartex Scottish lambskin coat in a soft light brown shade with creamy lambskin lined. Featuring chunky statement buttons and a belted back detail, this piece has that classic cosy glamour that made sheepskin coats so popular during the 1970s. Wonderfully warm and beautifully made, it’s the perfect blend of practicality and timeless vintage style.

Antartex Limited was a Scottish outerwear and textile company associated with traditional woollen and sheepskin manufacturing in Scotland, with records showing the company operating from Langholm, Dumfriesshire from 1980 onward. Scottish-made lambskin and sheepskin coats became especially sought after through the 1960s and 70s for their durability, warmth and rugged luxury, with many crafted using traditional tanning and leatherworking techniques passed down through generations. Scotland has a long history of producing high-quality wool, leather and sheepskin garments designed for cold climates and built to last.
