A wonderful Ruskin Pottery inspired handmade pewter brooch, with a beautiful Arts & Crafts feel and plenty of presence. Measuring approximately 6 x 4 cm, it is a good statement size without being overwhelming, with a sturdy brass pin fastening to the reverse.

The piece reflects the distinctive artistic spirit associated with Ruskin Pottery, founded in Birmingham in 1898 by Edward Richard Taylor. Ruskin became celebrated for its experimental glazes, rich colours and beautifully crafted decorative wares, and its work is highly regarded by collectors of British Arts & Crafts ceramics.
