A gorgeous Sobral Indiana necklace from the Aventuras collection, dating to the early 2000s and finished with the distinctive Sobral signature on the toggle.

Made in Brazil by renowned resin artist and designer Carlos Sobral, these pieces are much more than ordinary costume jewellery. Sobral became famous for transforming resin into bold, sculptural wearable art, with every piece having its own combination of colour, pattern and texture.

The Aventuras collection has an especially interesting story. It was created using fragments from earlier resin creations, bringing together different colours and shapes to make something completely new. Because the pieces were assembled from varying resin elements, no two are exactly alike — making each one an individual little work of art.

This striking blue necklace is a wonderful example, with its unusual organic forms and beautiful depth of colour. The Sobral signature on the toggle adds to its collectability and helps authenticate its maker.

A fabulous piece for a collector of Brazilian designer jewellery, vintage resin or statement pieces with a story. Wearable art at its best!
