Stunning vintage Salon Celia jacket in gorgeous Thai silk, with a flattering waist length cut, small collar and buttons running beautifully down the front.

And the fabric! Vibrant, luxurious and full of colour this is one of those pieces that is even more beautiful in person. The lustrous silk catches the light beautifully and gives the jacket an unmistakable sense of occasion, while the just below the elbow sleeves add to its elegant and stylish silhouette.

Made by Salon Celia in New Zealand, this piece has a wonderful connection to New Zealand's fashion history. Salon Celia was a long established Christchurch fashion house, with records dating back to the 1910s. The salon was known for bringing fashionable Parisian clothing and beautifully detailed garments to New Zealand, making this label a particularly charming piece of our local fashion heritage.
